Originally from the UK, she is enjoying living in Uxbridge, being inspired by the rich diversity of people, nature and the trails on her doorstep.
Lisa has attended various art courses at Halliburton and Visual Arts Mississauga, where she discovered her love of drawing and painting. She continues to learn under the guidance of Goguen studio in Oshawa. Lisa uses a variety of mediums in her work, graphite, charcoal, oil and acrylic.
Her passion is capturing people being expressive in their gestures, such as holding hands or enjoying simple pleasures like wading or time with their pet. You can spot her in coffee shops with her sketchpad. Lisa loves travelling and gardening and this has inspired her colour palette.
Enjoying exploring the arts, she is currently writing a novel and short stories, using words to capture pictures that can inspire her paintings.
