Pavla studied art in South Africa as part of her senior matriculation. Her passion for art lay dormant for about 20 years while she raised a family and pursued a working career.
Since 2000, Pavla rediscovered her passion for art and started taking art lessons with a well-known Toronto artist Mary Therese Carmichael. Pavla also took various work shop with world known artists, Zoltan Szabo, Jack Reid and Robert Bateman. Since 2014 Pavla has been taking art classes with internationally known Canadian artist, Albert Slark.
Pavla started painting with water colour media, however, in the past nine years she experimented with oil and has been painting with oil ever since. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout Canada and Europe.
