Ann Goldring’s interest in painting began with Japanese brush painting, evolved into watercolour, acrylic, and most recently pen and ink. She has four goals which she practices sometimes and neglects sometimes: painting from real objects rather than photographs, painting when standing at an easel, painting loosely and simply, painting landscapes en plein air. Ann is an active member of the Artists of Uxbridge, enjoying weekly sessions where members encourage each other and learn from each other.
