Growing up on a farm in England has given Jane an appreciation for wildlife and nature. She moved to Canada in her twenties and has lived in Uxbridge for the last ten years.
After her children were grown up Jane returned to painting. One of the key influences was Bernice Harper who guided her pupils with techniques and pushed the limits while leaving everyone to develop their own style.
Jane works in various media including watercolour, acrylic, oils and ink to interpret a variety of subjects. She experiments with different disciplines to create each piece.
Juried Art Shows including Uxbridge, Ajax and Pine Ridge have selected Jane’s watercolour and pen & ink work.
