A keen observer of colour, shape, line and texture, she transform vistas from her travels and from her home into colourful landscapes with a graphic quality that remind her of woodcuts. She scrapes oil pastel into motion filled textures and overlays it with acrylic paint. Recently she has painted Georgian Bay, Ontario – a beautiful place with clear clean water as blue as the Caribbean Sea. She also has many paintings from around her home in rural Uxbridge, Ontario.
